Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) LongTerm Care (LTC) / Travel RN
Location: Ridgewood NJ and Millville NJ
Contract: 10 Weeks / 7 week ( Millville NJ )
Shift: 11 pm to 7.30 Am and 7 am to 3.30 PM ( Millville NJ )
Specialty/Modality: Long term Care
Guarantee hour: 40


Licenses/Certifications: CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) State LicenseRNNew Jersey or Compact Licence Covid SSN

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) LongTerm Care (LTC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the LongTerm Care (LTC) facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing highquality nursing care to residents within our longterm care setting. This role requires strong clinical skills effective communication and a commitment to delivering personalized care to meet the physical emotional and social needs of our residents.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents under established care plans and policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents health status and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor residents vital signs and observe and report any changes in condition promptly.
  • Assist with activities of daily living including bathing grooming dressing and feeding

Education and Support:

  • Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding healthcare needs treatment plans and community resources.
  • Foster a supportive and therapeutic environment conducive to residents wellbeing and independence.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff promoting professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience in longterm care or geriatric nursing preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality.

Working Conditions:

  • Work shifts may include days evenings nights weekends and holidays based on facility needs.
  • Exposure to infectious diseases bodily fluids and hazardous materials may occur.
  • Physical demands include standing walking bending lifting and assisting residents with mobility.
