Call Volume: 5 calls per day
Call Type: Remote by phone only
Patient Volume: Ave. of 1521 per day
MonThu shared between MD & NP with 3/4 of appointments going on MD sched.
Support Staff:
1 clinic RN 2 MAs 2 front office clerks 1 quality analyst/billing and 3 infusions RNs.
Duties:
All aspects of Diagnosis Staging Precision Medicine symptom management and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology Patients.
Oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic & Infusion Services (Infusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatments) Infusion Center provides Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Blood/Platelet transfusions Hormone therapy Antibiotic Therapy Rheumatoid Arthritis injections and Therapeutic Phlebotomies.
EMR: iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion Center)
Other Info:
Provider is not called back in only remotely called.
Bone Marrow Biopsies are referred to outside provider.
Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
Active CA License
BC/BE in Hem or Onco
Residency/Fellowship in Medical Onco
CA DEA
BLS ACLS
