A leading design construct and maintain landscape company focusing on residential and some commercial properties are looking to take on a leading hand with their residential construction division.
Based in Roseville the main work locations are Sydney Metro namely Northern Beaches upper & Lower Northshore Eastern Suburbs & Inner West.
We operate from 6.45am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday.

This is a long term proposition we are looking to fill. There is scope for company growth so if you are looking for somewhere to advance your career whether that be supervisor estimator or running multiple crews then this could be a great opportunity for you for the future.
You will be responsible for:
- Effectively manage 13 landscapers / labourers / subcontractors to ensure efficient construction progress.
- Manage project timeframes and materials to efficiently forward construction
- Manage material ordering and budgets.
- Participate in on the job training for apprentices and junior staff.
- Ability to read and understand plans and written procedures.
- Complete construction to a high quality with excellent attention to detail.
- Lead by example and show a strong sense of initiative.
- Skills and experience in earthworks concreting paving/tiling decking/carpentry retaining fencing garden edging drainage irrigation planting/turfing etc.
- Competent computer skills (email project management software etc).
Requirements
To be successful in this role we are looking for the following attributes:
- Trade qualification (Landscape Construction Cert III or higher)
- Current NSW Driver s License
- Minimum 2 years structural landscape construction experience (as a qualified trades person)
- Reliable punctual well presented
- Hard working
- Motivation to move a project forward
- Eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving ability
- Initiative and ability to lead by example
- Ability to work positively within a team engaging well with staff/clients/subcontractors.
- Physical fitness good health and core body strength
To be the right candidate for this role and this company you will need to have: An eagerness to learn and be trained in the field of horticulture Experience in residential maintenance Preference for a qualification in Horticulture (but not essential) Knowledge of plants, pests and diseases would also be an advantage A good knowledge of plants, pests and diseases A keen eye for detail Take pride in the quality of work you produce Great communication skills for liaising with clients Manual drivers licence (essential)
