As a Big Data Engineer (Scala) you will:

• Build maintain and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines within a Big Data platform utilizing Hadoop Spark and other related technologies.
  
• Engage in schema design and dimensional data modeling while working extensively with both relational and NoSQL databases.
  
• Utilize version control systems like Git and integrate continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines within project workflows.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory data privacy and data security guidelines in all aspects of your work.
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• 810 years of experience in building and optimizing big data solutions with a strong background in technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
  
• Proficiency in querying languages such as SQL and programming languages like Python and Java along with functional programming in Scala.
  
• Expert knowledge in handling both onpremise clusters and cloud platforms such as Azure GCP or AWS.
  
• Experience with data build tools (DBT) containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
