As an Embedded Software Engineer at L4B Software you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to realworld projects in the field of software development. This position is ideal for students or graduates with a strong interest in embedded software particularly in areas of embedded Linux and/or Android AOSP.
At L4B Software you will:
- Collaborate with Senior Engineers on embedded software development projects.
- Assist in the design implementation and testing of embedded systems software.
- Work with embedded Linux and Android Open Source Project (AOPS) technologies.
- Develop and maintain code in C and C.
- Support software testers in fixing bugs.
- Contribute to the improvement of software development processes.
- Support in the software laboratory: flashing devices updating software integrating new end devices.
- Report directly to the Technical Project Manager.
Requirements
What you will bring:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related fields.
- At Least 3 to 5 years of professional experience working on the embedded systems.
- Passionate about embedded software and software development.
- Proficiency in Python C C and shell programming.
- Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented environment.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
- Selfmotivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Basic understanding of microprocessors is a plus.
- Exposure to Embedded Linux or Android Open Source Project (AOSP).

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. 4+ years of professional experience in Android application development. Strong proficiency in C/C++ and/or Java development for system-level programming. In-depth knowledge of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), Android OS, and Android ecosystem. Experience with Board Support Package (BSP) development and hardware-software integration. Familiarity with the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) and its role in Android system architecture. Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. Proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams and working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks. A passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
