Job Description

We are looking for a fulltime Welder with steel industry experience excellent communication and tenacity to work through the daily demands of a fabrication industry.
Key Responsibilities
To be considered for these roles we are looking for candidates that can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Read interpret drawings and weld to the exact specifications and ensure all work orders are completed to a consistently high standard.
- Prepping and completing FCAW welding activities using 1.6mm wire diameter working on a highly specialised range of equipment in a clean safe and well organised Workshop.
- Repair of various equipment and/or components including but not limited to: dump bodies and buckets
- Cutting and welding of ferrous and nonferrous metals
- Competent in both flux core and gas welding procedures Electrode TIG and submerged arc may be required on some projects
- Metal arc gouging required
- Versatile experience across heavy industry and light fabrication highly regarded but not essential
Requirements
- Trade Qualification Welder
- Experience on heavy industrial equipment required
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Commitment to safe operating procedures
- Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol screening and a preemployment medical

A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic, or 3 years of experience combined with 2 years of formal education in the trade. Proficiency in installation, repair, and maintenance of refrigeration systems. Solid understanding of blueprint readings and technical specifications. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
