We are currently searching for a Plant Director for our facility in Panama City FL. Reporting to COO this person will be responsible for:
- Driving overall highlevel ongoing business processes metrics and expected targets for the factory including all elements of financial performance metrics (revenue stream expenses balance sheet) as well as Safety Quality Delivery of the promises to customers Inventory Productivity and Cost.
- Leading the distribution transformers unit encompassing: Production and Material planning and scheduling; Industrial Processes: Engineering and Maintenance and all supervision and personnel responsible to assemble the transformers.
- Driving short and longterm organizational structure by way of deploying the strategy in support of ongoing business growth.
- Communicating and cascading the overarching direction from leadership of all teams within the factory plant.
- Formulating and deploying tactical plans that align the expectations from customers and shareholders with product portfolio factory and supplier (internal and external) capacity.
- Driving and enabling consistent practices of Lean Principles: safety daily management tieraccountability VSM flow pullproduction 5S eliminate wastes and continuous improvement.
- Fostering community relationships to attract and retain local talented people.
- Building and scaling teams: interviewing hiring and training employees.
- Managing the execution of the annual operating budget process including Capital Expenditure associated with expected ROI.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Preferred Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or Business. Desired Project Management Operations Management Construction Management MSE and/or MBA.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification desired Green Belt level Black Belt is a plus.
- 10 years of experience working directly with manufacturing in a production environment.
- Demonstrated handson ability in leading leaders in manufacturing environment. Desired: Transformers manufacturing
- Experience leading continuous improvement and value stream mapping events.
- Strong analytic skills and a high degree of proficiency in analytics.
- Exceptional with Excel and manual data analysis
- Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills
