Overview

Key responsibilities

• Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures such as Xrays CT scans MRI scans and ultrasounds
• Provide accurate and timely radiological diagnoses based on imaging results
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology and diagnostic imaging techniques
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance standards
• Manage and maintain radiology equipment and supplies
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in radiology practice
• Conduct research and contribute to the development of new imaging protocols or techniques
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior radiology staff if applicable
• Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of radiology reports and patient records
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the radiology department

Required qualifications

• Medical degree (MD) with specialization in Radiology
• DNB (Diplomate of National Board) qualification in Radiodiagnosis
• Valid state medical license to practice as a radiologist
• Proven experience working as a Radiologist preferably in an evening slot or parttime capacity
• Expertise in interpreting various diagnostic imaging modalities including Xrays CT scans MRI scans and ultrasounds
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to provide accurate and reliable radiological interpretations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively interacting with patients and healthcare teams
• Ability to work independently and handle a fastpaced environment during evening hours
• Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in radiology practice
• Proficiency in using radiology information systems and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)
• Continuous learning and willingness to stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and practices
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality patient care
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
