Randstad RiseSmart is actively looking for talented Resume Writers to join our dynamic Operations team on a part-time basis, allowing for remote work flexibility. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to craft compelling resumes while enjoying the convenience of working from home. As a Resume Writer, your primary objective will be to assist affected employees in securing rewarding employment opportunities promptly. The expectations of this job:

In your role as a Resume Writer, you'll interact with clients through various channels, including video conferencing, telephone calls, and email exchanges, to offer customized resume advice and support. Acting as a crucial part of the career transition team, you'll work in tandem with career coaches, job lead search specialists, and technical support staff to deliver a holistic and impactful service to participants. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth reviews of resumes to apply essential edits, enhancements, and suggestions that effectively highlight clients' qualifications and achievements.
• Crafting polished, professional resumes from scratch, tailoring each to the client's distinct skills, experiences, and career goals.
• Engaging in direct communication with clients to provide personalized support and address any queries or concerns during the resume development process.
• Immersing yourself in a variety of industries, including but not limited to technology, manufacturing, science, healthcare, education, and entertainment, to create compelling content that resonates across professional fields.
• Enabling job seekers to showcase their expertise and stand out in their respective industries through meticulously crafted resumes.

Experience needed for the Resume Writer:

• 3+ years of experience as a professional resume writer
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Knowledge of developing industry-specific content for entry-level, technical, professional, and executive roles
• Preferred certification from a major career organization (NRWA, CDI, CPRW, CRS, etc.)
• Technical writing skills and expertise in writing for technical roles is a plus
• Excellent customer service abilities
• Proficiency in formatting and designing resumes using Microsoft Word
