Commercial management of the transactional process of the new machines, quotations, and orders, while using basic technical understanding to resolve customer requests at their best
Interaction with local Sales Management, co-ordination with scheduling and shipping departments of manufacturing facilities overseas
Creation of paper-based quotations, costing sheets, and final orders incl. pricing, logistics, customs clearance (if applicable), payment, delivery terms, and their entry into the respective company tracking systems
Follow-up on quotations, orders, and deliveries schedule
Generation of regular and ad-hoc reports for management incl. weekly order intake reports and follow-up on missing orders and contracts, maintenance of Order Backlog
Requirements
Academic or secondary degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, business, or equivalent orientation
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
Business level of verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English
IT skills (MS Office)
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a comparable position in logistics, freight, shipment, and customs clearance of an industrial/technical goods trading and servicing company incl. but not limited to the automotive sector
Customer service focus with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships
Results-oriented, self-directed, and able to work in a fast-paced sales environment
