Job Description

  • Facilitate the Scrum process, ensuring adherence to Scrum theory, practices, and rules.
  • Guide and coach the Scrum team on self-organization and cross-functionality.
  • Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives)
  • Assist the Product Owner in managing the Product Backlog and ensuring its readiness.
  • Shield the team from external interference to maintain focus during the Sprint.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address impediments and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Promote Agile principles and values within the organization.
  • Foster innovation and a continuous improvement mindset within the team.
  • Resolve conflicts within the team and encourage open communication.
  • Serve as a change agent to drive the adoption of Agile methodologies.
  • Complies with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
  • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferably at a post-graduate level
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Excellent knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
  • English: Advanced & Arabic is preferred.
  • Very good knowledge of banking systems, applications, and banking operations.
  • Effective communication (Communication skills/ Convincing ability/ Persuasive/ Influencing/ Negotiating skills)
  • Problem-Solving (Analytical Thinking/ Creativity/ Problem Analysis/ Problem Resolution/ Decision Making)
