RN CVICU with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Need 2 Professional References.

The allinclusive hourly nonlocal pay rate for this position is $53.65/hr encompassing a taxable component of $39.15/hr along with a per diem of $14.50/hr.

Work Location: 4900 Mueller Blvd Austin TX 78723.

Local Rates (Below 75 Miles): $42.92/hr.

Reward: $7.40/hr.

Summary

• Department: and nbsp;Pediatric ICU Unit
• Shift Timings: 18:4507:15 Hours and nbsp;Monday to friday 3 days/12 Hours Shift.
• Per Week:36 Hours.
• 24 bed Pediatric cardiac ICU and 12 bed overflow unit. Congenital heart disease/defects post surgical repair heart failure arrhythmias transplant VAD. Age range: neonatal through young adult; occasional adult CHD patients

Roles and amp; Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care including observation and documentation of patient healthcare needs and communication of pertinent information to the registered nurse and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Assist with documentation and implementation of physician and nursing orders under the direction of the registered nurse preceptor.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Communicate monitor and record changes in patient condition as appropriate.
• Actively engage and participate in transition to practice programs in order to develop clinical thinking and enhanced clinical judgment to provide safe competent personcentered care.
