- Bachelor’s degree in education
- Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction
- Mandatory PYP and MYP experience and workshop certifications
- Have at least 10 years of experience successfully teaching and providing meaningful leadership in an independent school, including a track record of dramatically improving student achievement.
- In-depth knowledge of the (IB) program and its philosophy.
- Have experience with teacher coaching and evaluation.
- Be a highly collaborative, results-oriented, adaptable, problem-solving self-starter.
- Embrace using data to inform instructional planning and practice. Comfortable using Google Sheets, sharing and analyzing student performance results, and humility in constantly working to improve instructional practices.
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial, dynamic school or related demanding environment.
- Desire for rigorous professional development and coaching with a focus on continuous improvement and instructional effectiveness.
- Be positive, thoughtful, passionate, articulate, motivating, and empowering with students and team members.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be computer savvy, with proficiency in email, and Ideally have experience using Google Workspace’s full suite of applications.

Job Description:
EGA’s Director of Curriculum and Assessment (DCA) is responsible for instructional leadership of EGA’s education program K-12. This includes providing oversight for IB PYP and MYP curriculum and instruction, coaching the teachers and division coordinators, leading professional development, leading data-driven decision-making, and managing all academic assessments. The DCA is an active member of the school’s leadership team, which collaborates weekly on setting the school’s strategic direction.
