Key Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic therapeutic and preventive healthcare services as delegated by a physician.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to assess patient needs plan and implement patient care plans and monitor and record patient progress.
- Educate and counsel patients on disease prevention and positive health and lifestyle choices.
- Conduct physical exams order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide pre and postoperative care.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to keep abreast of medical advancements.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- A current Physician Assistant license.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare setting preferably in a similar role.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to make decisions and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patientcentered care.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and medical office software.
