Junior Accountant supports the Accounting manager in overseeing the complete finance and accounting function of the firm and facilitating accurate and compliant recording, monitoring, reporting and control of all invoices & payments.
Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to):
- Responsible for company's financial management which includes all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties i.e., maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports
- Responsible for cash flow management.
- Responsible for raising Client invoices, handling Account receivables and regular follow ups for the same.
- Responsible for payment preparation
- Responsible for Payroll processing.
- Prepare periodic financial analysis and reports.
- Prepare revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
- Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Assist in annual audit preparations.
- Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Responsible to coordinate with various 3rd party firms, namely, Banks, Credit bureaus, Insurance companies for business related requirements.
- Perform monthly closings, maintenance of accounting files, and preparation/organization of various financial forms, reports, and financial analyses, etc.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data.
- Perform other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
