Overview:
The Sales Officer is a crucial role within our organization responsible for driving sales and contributing to the companys bottom line. This role plays a key part in identifying potential clients streamlining sales (both primary and secondary) and maintaining customer relationships to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and appointing new distributors in the assigned areas/districts.
- Creating and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Negotiating and closing sales deals.
- Building and maintaining strong longlasting customer relationships.
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Preparing sales reports and forecasts.
- Managing a portfolio of accounts and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Participating in sales meetings and training sessions.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the sales process.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Prior experience in sales or a similar role preferably snacks and beverages (FMCG) industry
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
- Ability to travel as needed.
