Java Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging
• Write welldesigned efficient and testable code
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Test deploy and maintain the software to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed
• Assist in the development of highquality web application using Java technologies
• Develop and implement frontend architecture to support user interface concepts
• Conduct software analysis programming testing and debugging
• Deploy new features and modules while maintaining highquality development standards
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with backend developers and web designers to improve usability

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven work experience as a Java Developer or similar role
• Handson experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF Wicket GWT Spring MVC)
• Proficient in Java with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC JDBC and RESTful
• Experience with both external and embedded databases
• Knowledge of version control software such as Git
• Experience in developing web services using Spring Framework
• Experience with testdriven development
• Solid understanding of objectoriented programming
• Experience with popular web application frameworks and cuttingedge JavaScript frameworks
• Good knowledge of relational databases SQL and ORM technologies
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
