Job Description
Overview:
The ECS Delta EDI Integration Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the electronic data interchange (EDI) integration processes within the organization. This position is essential for ensuring seamless communication between internal and external systems as well as maximizing efficiency and accuracy in data exchange.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing EDI solutions including mapping translation and communication protocols
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for EDI integration
- Developing testing and deploying EDI processes and workflows
- Ensuring compliance with EDI standards security protocols and data privacy regulations
- Resolving EDIrelated issues and troubleshooting integration errors
- Monitoring EDI transactions and identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Providing technical support and training to internal stakeholders on EDI processes
- Documenting EDI procedures configurations and best practices
- Participating in the evaluation and selection of EDI software and tools
- Collaborating with external partners to implement and maintain EDI connections
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience with ECS Delta EDI application
- Strong understanding of integration standards and data mapping (EDI X12 and XML)
- Extensive experience coordinating and configuring integration activities
- Knowledge of networks and system architecture (FTP SFTP HTTPS AS2 web services)
- Expertise in error handling and resolution
- Familiarity with security and compliance requirements (PCI and PII)
- Excellent time management and planning skills
- Ability to provide training and support
- Strong adaptability to changes during implementation
- Expertise in ECS and Delta EDI systems
- Proficiency in ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards
- Familiarity with AS2 FTP SFTP and other EDI communication protocols
