Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and a passion for accuracy and attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to contribute their expertise to a reputable firm and advance their career in the field of accounting.

Responsibilities:

Joining as a Bookkeeper you will take responsibility for the delivery of bookkeeping services preparation of VAT returns and involvement with wider services dependent on the background and experience of the right professional. You will work on varied clients across a mix of industries and turnovers. Clients are primarily sole traders limited companies and LLPs. You will carve a key support role here to Managers and Directors with increasing responsibility client contact and development on offer.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in a bookkeeping role preferably within a similar professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Xero or Sage with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Relevant qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping would be advantageous but not essential.
