Responsibilities

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the specific needs of students.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their English skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and schemes of work.
• Create and maintain a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Monitor and manage student behaviour and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies.
• Keep accurate records of student attendance achievement and progress.

Requirements

• A bachelors degree in English Language Literature or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience teaching English in a primary or secondary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students and parents/guardians.
• Passion for education and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Organized and efficient with the ability to plan and prioritize work effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
