Registered Nurse ER Emergency Care

Benelux Medical Staff a leading staffing agency is searching for a dedicated RN Emergency Care having expertise in emergency care for a Fulltime position in Alexandria Louisiana. Join our team and contribute to promoting healing and wellbeing by providing expert care to patients.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient/family health taking a leadership role in planning and implementing nursing care.

Provide technical nursing care to a designated patient population.

Ensure adherence to the Departments Scope of Practice.

Tailor care to meet the unique needs of patients considering developmental age.

Deliver services to all patients regardless of age.

Take accountability for nursing plan outcomes and participate in evaluations.

Foster effective communication and collaboration within the nursing team.

Engage in professional development for ongoing improvement.

Adhere to nursing practice standards and contribute to quality improvement.

Demonstrate competence in responding to emergencies.

Provide effective nursing interventions during critical incidents.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Must be able to prioritize workflow daily. Ability to interpret medical terminology and possess an understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
  
• One year of recent experience is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English required bilingual (English/Spanish; English/French) preferred.
  
• Associates Degree in Nursing
  
• Current Louisiana RN License
  
• Current BLS
  
• ACLS & PALS within 3 months of hire
  
• DeEscalation certification
  
• TNCC certification preferred
