Auto Electricians - Full-time Perth based and overtime

Our client a wellknown and respected company that designs and manufactures a range of customisable heavy vehicles for Mining Civil Government Transport and Waste Management clients in Western Australia are seeking an Automotive Electrician to join their team.

• Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on various heavy equipment such as trucks trailers and other vehicles
  
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
  
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components like alternators batteries and starter motors
  
• Ensure a safe and orderly work environment
  
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  
• Execute maintenance tasks to meet production goals
  
• Perform necessary inspections to optimise equipment usage
  
• Fill out Job Planning Sheets accurately to facilitate job completion
  
• Conduct technical inspections and estimate job requirements
  
• Offer solutions through appropriate channels
  
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness
  
• Carry out prestart checks
  

Requirements

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician with two years experience in a similar / related position
  
• Demonstrated experience working on heavy equipment particularly trucks trailers and earthmoving equipment
  
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
