The Role
Your role will involve collaborating with the Logistics Manager and Supply Chain Team to ensure sales orders are delivered on time monitor forwarder performance and facilitate the successful delivery of monthly sales targets. Youll also partner with our UK 3PL to maintain visibility on export order progress ensuring deviations from plans are addressed promptly.
In this role youll get to:
- Act as a key liaison point between Sales Administrators Operations and Logistics addressing queries and ensuring smooth coordination.
- Attend weekly meetings to provide updates on live orders and maintain accurate records of key dates and orders at risk.
- Organize transportation activities for global distribution including customer returns and ensure all documentation is in order for customs procedures.
- Provide analytical support measure freight forwarder performance and assist in cost reporting.
- Support in onboarding new customers freight forwarders and transportation partners.
- Key purchase orders and provide general administrative support as needed.
What we are looking for in you:
- Combined business experience in Operations Transport Supply Chain Export or Administration.
- Previous experience in logistics administration export coordination or similar roles with a strong understanding of global order fulfilment cycles.
- Experience in defining and documenting processes challenging existing workflows whilst considering interdepartmental dependencies.
- Familiarity with incoterms and Chamber of Commerce documentation is preferred.
- Strong ERP knowledge preferably Microsoft Dynamics Navision and proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Excellent communication time management and prioritization skills.
