About the Role

• Deliver engaging and stimulating RE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Foster a love of learning for RE and develop a deep understanding of religious beliefs and practices.
• Create and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Contribute to the schools RE curriculum ensuring its effectiveness and relevance.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Build strong relationships with students parents and colleagues within the department.

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Religious Education or a related discipline.
• Proven experience teaching RE at secondary school level (KS3 & KS4).
• A strong passion for RE and the ability to ignite students curiosity in the subject.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students of diverse backgrounds.
• A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and sharing best practices.
