Senior Software Quality Assurance Expert - ASPICE

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Expert with expertise in ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) to join our project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and processes particularly in the context of automotive software development.

1. ASPICE Compliance: Lead and oversee the implementation of ASPICE standards across software development processes ensuring compliance with relevant ASPICE requirements.

2. Quality Assurance Planning: Develop comprehensive quality assurance plans tailored to specific projects and products outlining testing strategies methodologies and metrics.

3. Process Improvement: Continuously identify areas for process improvement within the software development lifecycle implementing best practices and optimizing workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.

4. Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in software products and processes developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact and ensure product reliability.

5. Test Strategy Development: Design and implement effective test strategies and methodologies including both manual and automated testing approaches to validate software functionality and performance.

6. Test Execution: Oversee the execution of test plans and procedures ensuring thorough testing coverage and accurate defect identification and tracking.

7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of testing activities results and defects and provide regular reports to stakeholders on quality assurance status and metrics.

8. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including software developers project managers and quality assurance engineers to ensure alignment on quality objectives and facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on ASPICEcompliant processes and the VModel.

Indepth understanding of ASPICE framework and its application in automotive software development.

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and best practices.

Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance plans and processes.

Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.

Certifications in relevant quality assurance and ASPICE standards (e.g. ISTQB Automotive SPICE) are preferred.
