Job Description

We are currently hiring a Logistics Administrator to assist with the administrative tasks involved in managing transportation distribution and inventory activities. The Logistics Administrator will play a key role in coordinating logistics operations maintaining accurate records and providing administrative support to the logistics team.

Tasks

  • Coordinate and schedule transportation activities including shipments deliveries and pickups in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Generate and process shipping documentation such as bills of lading shipping labels and customs documentation.
  • Track shipments and monitor delivery status providing updates to customers and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels stock movements and warehouse activities using inventory management software.
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation and cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Communicate with carriers suppliers and customers to coordinate logistics activities and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Provide administrative support to the logistics team including data entry filing and general office tasks.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports presentations and other documentation as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a logistics transportation or supply chain role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and other office software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics software is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles and practices is desirable.
