Call Volume: Varies
Call Ratio: Varies (APC/Resident on at night so call volume to physician varies)
Patient Volume: 18 ICU patients/day
No. of Admissions: 34
Rounding Included: Yes; 1824 critically ill patients w/ APC & IM/FM/EM residents
Physicians in Practice: 5 Critical Care
Case Mix: All encompassingcardiac neuro trauma medical & surgical.
Required Procedures:
Ventilation Mgmt: Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy) NonInvasive (BiPAP/CPAP).
Insertions: Central Line Arterial Line PA Catheter.
Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps Required: Paracentesis Thoracentesis and Lumbar puncture.
Total No. of Beds: 425
No. of ICU Beds: 18 (Closed ICU)
EMR: Epic
Trauma Level: II
Other Info:
Schedule varies based on availability of other PRN/fulltime providers.
Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers: APCs.
Involved in Covering/Supervising Teaching Services for IM FM and EM residents.
Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
OH License
BC/BE preferrably in PulmoCC (or any CC)
BLS/ACLS
Flu Vaccination proof
COVID Vaccination is preferred
