Snowflake Data Engineer

Position: Snowflake Data Engineer (USC or GC Only)

Location: Chicago IL (LOCALS ONLY)

Work Type: W2 / 1099

Qualifications (Must Haves):

• 10 years of Experience
• ANSI SQL experience Snowflake Cloud and familiarity with SQL scripting.
• Proficiency in Java J2SE Java Serve Pages XML/XSLT JSON.
• Experience with Spring/Spring Boot REST API using Microservice Architecture.
• Knowledge of JSON AJAX JDBC JPA/ORM framework and JUnit.
• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (Tanzu Application Service) or Public Cloud.
• Integration of Snowflake with other data processing and reporting tools.
• Ability to work with cloud storage and strong understanding of Cloud (Azure) services.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines.
• Experience with Reporting Tools like Coric Power BI Tableau Thoughtspot etc.
• Knowledge of API Management tools (Layer7 API Developer Portal Azure APIM).
• Understanding of security practices including working with cyber ark encryptions data masking etc.
• Experience in Financial Services.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ETL tools.
• Familiarity with Messaging platforms like Kafka.
• Knowledge of code quality tools such as SonarQube Checkmarx Appspider CAST.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
• Understanding of data modeling principles.
• Experience with Eagle vended product.
• Proficiency in Python.
