As an Engineer you will be working at the local Tempe AZ office with senior staff on various projects from K12 Higher Education including projects located out of state. This position is designed to identify potential fulltime candidates who possess an interest and/or passion in the sports/civil industry. Example projects may include civil site design roadway design dry and wet utility design turf field renovations sports court design public works projects a new school campus addition etc. Candidates will be exposed to various levels of play from recreation school sports and professional sports ranging in soccer baseball/softball football volleyball pickleball tennis track & field and others. Additional civil design work may include roadway parking water sewer storm dry utilities etc.
Responsibilities:
- Participating in cross function teams and projects
- Manage assist and develop civil and sports design and engineering
- Help prepare drainage water and sewer reports for projects
- Conduct periodic site visits to construction sites to monitor quality and progress of the work
- Provide support to staff members as needed
- Performs engineering development review
- Attends onsite construction meetings and inspections and supports construction administration
Requirements
Qualifications/Ideal Characteristics:
- Bachelor s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited program.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona
- 4 Years of professional civil/sports engineering experience
- Minimum 4year bachelor s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited program.
- Highly motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates analytical and critical thinking skills
- Must be detail and result oriented with a proven track record of success
- Desire to continue a career in the civil engineering field
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management
- Certification (If any): Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona (Preferred)
