CDP is a notforprofit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors companies cities states and regions to manage their environmental impacts. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to support our Disclosure work in Europe for 6 months (AprilSeptember 2024). It is a unique opportunity to learn how CDP engages with its corporate and public sector stakeholders and learn about the world of environmental reporting.
We are looking for working students (Werkstudenten) who can support us for 6 months with earliest starting date April 2024.
The role includes
- Supporting CDPs Supply Chain team in their work with companies and their suppliers along their environmental disclosure journey.
- Becoming familiar with CDP Systems (e.g. CRM) and use these systems to support our operations.
- Support the team with troubleshooting client enquiries and outreach logistics (e.g. answering queries via email drafting mailouts).
- Assist with administration of the supply chain disclosure system and with the incoming supplier queries during the disclosure cycle.
- Assisting with adhoc tasks from the team as required.
The successful candidate should have
- Currently enrolled in a university
- A great team player able to work in coordination with other colleagues and working students
- Fluent English skills (any other European language is a plus)
- Interest in corporate sustainability themes climate change issues and how we can solve them
- Enjoys working with people and has excellent communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with people at different levels of seniority and from different cultural backgrounds
- Flexible analytical and has creative problemsolving skills
- Comfortable with the MS Office package in particular Outlook and Excel
- Able to work 20 hours per week on average for the MayOctober time period
