Taskbase a rapidly growing ETH spinoff based in Zrich is seeking a motivated Data Scientist with a focus on AI including LLMs to revolutionize education and complement our expanding international team.

Tasks

What you will do:

• Integrate and optimize machine learning models.
• Provide indepth analysis and evaluation of model performance issues offer datadriven solutions and explore opportunities for model enhancements.
• Develop and maintain performance monitoring tools.
• Leverage Large Language Models for natural language processing tasks to enhance the educational content and feedback delivery.
• Translate educational product requirements into technical specifications for effective execution.
• Employ generative AI for creating domainspecific test data.
• Build and maintain data storage and management infrastructure.
• Take ownership of data science challenges and solve them independently or in a team effort as they turn up.

Requirements

What you will need:

• Bachelor in Computer Science or Data Science (ETH Uni FH) or comparable education.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in data science or a related field. Graduate studies count towards this requirement.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques and processes with a focus on Large Language Models.
• Collaborative mindset and understanding of agile methodologies.
• Excellent English skills; Ideally fluent in German.

Which technologies you should ideally be familiar with:

• Python
• Kotlin or Java or C# or similar language
• SQL ideally MySQL
• git
• exposure to cloud providers ideally AWS
