Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in building and maintaining robust data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and efficiently managing large-scale data storage and retrieval. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies like Snowflake, Airbyte, DBT, SQL, and Python.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Acquire datasets that align with business needs.
• Develop algorithms to transform data into useful, actionable information.
• Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures.
• Create new data validation methods and data analysis tools.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
• Implement and manage data warehousing solutions, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate data solutions.
• Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code, primarily in SQL and Python.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data processing issues and optimize for performance.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in data engineering and recommend improvements to current processes.
• Document all data engineering processes and designs for future reference and compliance.

What You’ll Need to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, Java, Go programming languages.
• Extensive experience with Snowflake, Airbyte, DBT, and other relevant data engineering tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively in a team.
