Account Manager job in Lancashire Account Manager Compressed Air Systems


Join Our Team

Our client with over 60 years in the industry is looking for an Account Manager with experience in compressed air systems to join our commercial team and help propel us into our next stage of development. If youre someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment and is ready to help drive sales in a 100m market we want you!


Your Role

  • This role is less about sales and more about technical project management.
  • You ll be working with 99% existing customers and fulfilling their briefs.
  • You ll need to be able to cost up a job estimate what is needed etc.
  • Manage and grow relationships with regional accounts.
  • Expand the customer base boost sales and profits from your customer portfolio.
  • Collaborate with our commercial and operational teams.
  • Lead in identifying new opportunities.
  • Deliver compliant and financially sound tender and bid submissions.
  • Provide insights on project impacts cash flows and reporting.


Requirements

What Were Looking For

  • We need someone who has come from the compressed air environment either in a sales role project management or potentially an engineer that wants to get off the tools.
  • It s technical knowledge that s needed rather than the sales expertise.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation skills familiarity with Microsoft Office and general IT aptitude.
  • Knowledge of compressors HVAC pumps and mechanical engineering is a plus.
  • Education: Numeracy is essential; a degree in Engineering or Business or a DipCam is desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be comfortable communicating with team members and clients at all levels.
  • Drive: A commitment to learning and understanding the company s services flexibility in work hours to meet objectives and a resultsdriven approach.
  • License: A full driving license is required.

The Package

  • Salary: 40000 with OTE of 45k to 50k
  • Location: Field Based NW England
  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Type: Permanent
