Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Design Director who is a visionary ready to play a pivotal role in elevating our creative output. If youre a handson design leader who thrives in a dynamic fastpaced environment and enjoys collaborating with a diverse team of marketing professionals this role is perfect for you. In this position you will report directly to our Creative Director.

As a Design Director at Publitek you will:

Provide creative leadership and execution

• Support the Creative Director to develop and champion a strong design vision that aligns with our overall brand strategy and client needs.

• Create and deliver exceptional design work across various channels and mediums including static graphics animations digital ads video production/postproduction photography websites landing pages email newsletters social media collateral infographics print production/postproduction and illustrations via handson execution.

• Participate in brand and client brainstorming meetings actively ideating on specific deliverables and preparing sketches and concepts beforehand.

• Provide artistic direction drive creative problemsolving and ensure the highest quality standards are met across all client and internal projects.

• Find opportunities to upsell creative work to clients and upskill CreativeServices team members leaning into possibilities not constraints.

• Maintain strict adherence to deadlines and manage project timelines effectively.

• Help inform resourcing schedules processes and QA.

Manage and develop our Design team

• Manage mentor motivate and empower a team of talented designers(inhouse and contract) fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Manage workloads effectively and help ensure that designers are challenged and have the resources and support needed to excel. Provide ongoing feedback coaching and mentorship to help designers develop their skills and professional growth.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and encourage exploration of new design trends and technologies.

Lead client communication and presentations

• Present design concepts and final deliverables clearly and confidently to internal teams and clients effectively communicating the design rationale and its impact on client goals.

• Collaborate with our Creative Director and Client Services on design needs for proposals pitches and salesrelated projects ensuring a cohesive and visually impactful presentation. Be able to discard and/or revise concepts according to client feedback with grace and positivity rather than conflict or conceit.

Youll bring:

• Design expertise across various mediums with an understanding of B2B marketing principles and the ability to translate complex information into visually compelling narratives that meet clients goals.

• Extensive experience in a design leadership role within a marketing agency design firm or equivalent experience.

• A strong portfolio that showcases branding design and production expertise in related mediums and industries.

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite Figma Miro and other relevant design software.
