Job Description

Job Title: Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Job Type: Contract; FullTime
Pay:$24.00$27.00/hour
Location: Houston TX 77002

Under general supervision from the Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing we are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team. As a Marketing Communications Coordinator you will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our services. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will also prepare public information via the website social media and any other digital platforms in support of the organizations public information program and marketing initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our company and make a significant impact in the field of marketing communications.


Duties:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels including digital social media email and print.
Create engaging content for marketing materials such as brochures presentations website copy and blog posts.
Manage social media accounts and create compelling posts to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Conduct market research to identify trends and insights that will inform marketing strategies.
Assist in organizing and coordinating promotional events trade shows and conferences.
Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools.
Maintain brand consistency across all marketing communications materials.
Participate in services and activities of the department related to public information.
Manage and maintain confidentiality in all of the information handled.
Carry out traditional and creative methods to inform the public of activities.
Assist with managing translation and interpretation contracts for oncall digital marketing and media needs.


Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet critical deadlines.
Familiar with Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate clearly with individuals from various backgrounds.
Experience using Content Management Systems.
Understanding of Social Media Platforms.
Experience with desktop publishing and publication layouts with a strong background in graphic design or social media marketing.

Work Environment:
The job is performed in a professional office environment. A flexible work schedule is available.


Physical Demands:
This is primarily a sedentary role. This would require lifting up to ten pounds and bending and standing if necessary at events.

Job Types: Fulltime Contract
Salary: $24.00 $27.00 per hour
Location Type: Inperson
Schedule: 8:00am5:00pm ; Monday to Friday




Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or a related field.
  • Proven years of experience in marketing communications or a similar role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detailoriented with a creative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.


Proven years of experience in marketing communications or a similar role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
