Bon Secours Mercy Health Springfield Medical Center is looking for locum Gastroenterology coverage for 2024!
Open dates:
Looking for a clean file to accommodate current urgent need. Could lead to 12 month contract. This position is open to meet a tremendous need in a community/region. There are 2 employed physicians strong mentorship available. It is a 254bed hospital with Hospitalist Program for admissions with a freestanding outpatient surgery center. Endoscopy is performed with choice of either MAC (with CRNA s) or conscious sedation by the endoscopist whichever is preferred. The latest Olympus scopes are used and the endoscopy software (MD Reports) is automatically linked to EPIC. Gold Probe APC EMR support and Fibroscan are available. Two endoscopy suites with experienced staff.
Travel Reimbursement Information:
- xx150/night lodging cap
- All other bookings must be standard/economy
Requirement description :
- Board Certified REQUIRED
- Active OH License & DEA HIGHLY Preferred; willing to accept IMLC candidates
- ACLS/BLS Certified REQUIRED
- ERCP HIGHLY desired but not required
- Flu Vaccination REQUIRED noted at time of name clear
- COVID Vaccination HIGHLY Preferred
Weekend Requirements : Yes
On Call Requirements : Yes; 1:4
