Job Description
MasterStart is a skills provider that creates builds and delivers customised and contextualised online learning solutions for organisations that are seeking flexible innovative impactful and scalable solutions to deliver on their skills development requirements.
We are looking for a highly skilled Head of Technology to work in a dynamic fastpaced and fastgrowing company. In this role you will have the opportunity to be innovative and work with multiple departments from product development to sales and marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the companys technology strategy and roadmap.
- Oversee the design development and implementation of technology solutions.
- Manage and lead a team of technology professionals providing guidance and support.
- Manage the BI team to produce accurate real time data to influence decision making across the business.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the companys technology infrastructure.
- Manage and ensure responsiveness and uptime of internal systems and cloud based platforms.
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and opportunities.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in technology to drive innovation.
- Work closely with the Learning Technology team to continuously improve the Online Campus and user experience.
- Work with the Marketing team to manage the company website.
- Manage technology budgets and resources effectively.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Establish and enforce technology policies and procedures to ensure compliance and data protection.
- Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organisation
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the technology team.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in similar leadership roles
- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
- Understanding of budgets and businessplanning
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership and organisational abilities
- Strategic thinking
- Problemsolving aptitude
- BSc/BCom in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
Technical acumen:
- ZohoCRM or similar CRM systems
- Exposure to Qlikview/Qliksense
- Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Moodle
- Previous experience as a developer or development manager
- Wordpress experience
Working hours: Monday Friday
