Key Responsibilities:

• Performing laparoscopic surgeries including cholecystectomies appendectomies hernia repairs and colectomies.
• Conducting preoperative consultations and examinations to assess patient suitability for laparoscopic procedures.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
• Utilizing advanced laparoscopic techniques to minimize patient trauma and enhance recovery.
• Monitoring and managing postoperative care ensuring optimal recovery and patient satisfaction.
• Participating in continuous education and training to keep abreast of latest laparoscopic surgical techniques and technologies.
• Adhering to established surgical protocols and standards to maintain patient safety and quality of care.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to surgical teams and residents in laparoscopic surgery.
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives to enhance surgical outcomes and patient experience.
• Participating in research activities to contribute to the advancement of laparoscopic surgical practices.
• Communicating effectively with patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and postoperative care.

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a general surgery residency program.
• Fellowship training in laparoscopic surgery.
• Board certification in general surgery.
• Licensure to practice as a surgeon in the relevant location.
• Demonstrated experience in performing a wide range of laparoscopic procedures.
• Strong understanding of anatomy physiology and pathophysiology.
• Excellent handeye coordination and dexterity for laparoscopic surgery.
• Exceptional decisionmaking and critical thinking skills in surgical settings.
