Overview
The Senior Medical Sales Representative Area Sales Manager for Pain Management Products is a crucial role within our organization responsible for overseeing and driving sales of pain management pharmaceutical products within a specified area. This position plays a key part in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expanding market share. The individual will also be tasked with building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets for pain management products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals key opinion leaders and decisionmakers
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand product reach and market share
- Provide product education and training to healthcare providers and staff
- Participate in trade shows conferences and other marketing events to promote pain management products
- Analyze market trends competition and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies
- Track and report sales performance market trends and customer feedback to management
- Collaborate with marketing and other internal teams to support product launches and promotional activities
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Manage and monitor sales budgets and expenses within the assigned area
- Travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients attend events and conduct business meetings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Life Sciences or related field
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales particularly in pain management products
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and pharmaceutical regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders
- Knowledge of sales strategies techniques and principles
- Proficiency in analyzing market trends and competition
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
