Bon Secours Southside Regional Medical Center is looking for General Surgeon locum coverage starting as soon as credentialed ongoing!
Coverage Details:
Will start on May 1st! 524 hour shifts per month.
Job Details:
Reason for Coverage: Shortage
Practice Setting: Hospital base / 4 hours clinical
Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: based on patients coming into the ER.
Trauma Level/Designation: III
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Number of Operating Rooms: 9
Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 4
Patient Age Demographic: Adolescent Adult Geriatric
Required Procedures:
General Surgical Cases ADULT
General Surgical Cases TRAUMA
Laser Certification
Chest Wall/Pleural Procedures
Central Line Insertion
PA Catheter Placement
Ventilation Management
Chest Tube Insertion
Aneurysm repairs
Abdominal Peripheral Vascular Access Devices
AV Shunt
Cholecystectomy
Nissen Fundoplication
Hernioplasty
Upper Lower Sigmoidoscopy & Colonoscopy
The facility will reimburse for the following costs: Flight Hotel Rental Car and Mileage billed at the IRS Standard Rate.
Requirement description :
- Board Certified (ABOS AOBOS) REQUIRED
- Active VA license REQUIRED (must be currently active will not accept providers needing to obtain license)
- BLS/ACLS REQUIRED
- COVID Vaccinated Preferred; must have by time of credentialing
- Clean background is preferred
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- ACLS
- BLS
- Board Certified
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
- Virginia
