Job Description
- Bird Identification: A bird hazer should have knowledge of different bird species, their behavior, and characteristics to effectively address bird-related problems.
- Hazard Assessment: Assessing the risks and hazards associated with bird presence in a particular environment is an essential part of the job. This includes identifying potential bird strike risks at airports, crop dam****** risks in agricultural fields, or health hazards in urban areas due to bird droppings.
- Bird Deterrents: Implementing various deterrent techniques to discour****** birds from inhabiting or causing dam****** to the designated areas. This may involve using non-lethal methods such as sound devices, visual deterrents (e.g., scarecrows, reflective materials), bird spikes, netting, or chemical repellents in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Regular monitoring of bird activity and assessing the effectiveness of the implemented deterrent measures. Adjusting or modifying strategies as needed to ensure long-term bird man******ment.
