Job Description

• • Answer and direct incoming calls taking and delivering messages when necessary.
  • Greets and directs visitors.
  • Processes all incoming and outgoing mail and faxes including distribution proper postage etc.
  • Prepares customs documents for intercompany shipments.
  • Scans and updates work copies of orders to K: drive.
  • Maintains Capacity Planning spreadsheet and uploads to K: drive.
  • Separates invoices and forwards copies as required.
  • Clerical duties such as typing correspondence and documents filing work orders purchase orders and Certificates of Analysis.
  • Maintains and updates branch calendar.
  • Orders office supplies.
  • Reviews Visitor Log Book at the end of every business day to ensure all visitors have signed out.
  • Supports production projects by labelling bags envelopes or cartons at desk when time allows.
  • Reports security and/or health and safety infractions or potential infractions in a timely manner and to the appropriate contacts.
  • Performs other related tasks that his/her supervisor deems necessary for the efficient operation of the department.
