POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position is responsible for leading a team of Territory Managers Sales Associates and 1099 sales contractors in the Midwest to increase the client base and achieve sales quotas.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hiring onboarding cotraveling training mentoring conducting performance reviews and offboarding.
  • Responsible for the teams schedules territories and performance to drive results and exceed sales goals.
  • Develop plan and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve regional revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Marketing Product Development and Operations to align sales initiatives with the overall business objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts healthcare providers and industry stakeholders to promote customer loyalty and retention.
  • Identify customer needs address inquiries and concerns and provide product demonstrations and presentations as needed.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and the pipeline and take proactive measures to address deviations from targets.
  • Utilize CRM tools and systems to track sales activities forecast future sales trends and generate accurate sales reports and forecasts.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings performance reviews and territory assessments to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations guidelines and company policies when executing sales activities and customer interactions.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Bachelors degree in Sales Business Medical Science or a related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
  • 8 years of medical sales experience.
  • You have successfully built a small B2B sales team.
  • You have existing relationships and potential business opportunities in Orthopedics Spine or pain management in your home market.
  • You have consistently been a top performer.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • The job requires you to set clear expectations and focus on achieving sales goals.
  • Understands the importance of the bottom line and how to accomplish expected results.
  • Reliable responsible and dependable in fulfilling obligations and commitments.
  • Techsavvy with the ability to learn new and complex medical office software through independent learning.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and financial software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP).
  • Proficient in G suite appbased iPhone support ChatGPT and able to selflearn any new application that might be installed in the future.
  • A preemployment tech demonstration will be required.
OTHER
  • An Apple smartphone and a printer/scanner/fax combo installed in your home office are required.
  • You must reside in or near a major metropolitan market with easy access to an airport preferably in Chicago St. Louis or Indianapolis.
  • A valid drivers license and insured vehicle as travel will be required 2550% of the time.
