Job Description

The Technical Account Manager will play a critical role in driving technical success and building trusted customer relationships with our Fortune 500 Global 2000 and MSSP customers in the cybersecurity domain. We are seeking an experienced individual who is a cybersecurity domain expert with a passion for technology collaboration and delivering value to the customer.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive problemsolver who takes ownership of technical aspects of the solution deployed driving adoption and solving technical blockers while managing customer expectations. They will be expected to possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and be able to provide expert guidance on how our deep learning malware prevention solution can address these threats.

In addition to being a technical expert the TAM will have exceptional communication presentation and listening skills a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask in a highpressure environment. They will be a customer advocate within our organization providing technical insights to guide product development and ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for our customers and partners.

Responsibilities::


What Youll Do:

Customer Engagement

  • Act as a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert; directing and consulting with our customers on the everchanging security landscape
  • Build strong and trusted technical relationships with assigned customers alongside the Deep Instinct Account teams and Customer Success Managers
  • Develop a clear and concise understanding of the customers business strategies and solve technical blockers to achieve value of Deep Instinct
  • Work directly with the customer technical SMEs and executives to implement expand and teach best practices for implementation and configuration of deployed solutions to ensure value is being achieved
  • Participate in or deliver Quarterly Business Reviews and present the threat report and technical trend analysis as the technical owner
  • Act as a Deep Instinct Subject Matter Expert; liaising with our customers on the everchanging security landscape and providing insights into new functionality and features being delivered and drive upgrade preparations
  • Undertake Proactive reviews health checks trend analysis and Knowledge transfer to ensure the customer is achieving maximum value from the solution
  • Defuse and manage concerns and escalations from customers to ensure timely and quality resolutions to their issues and concerns; Own and drive customer escalations.
  • Establish regular cadence (Weekly Monthly Quarterly) with each assigned client to review ongoing engagement deployment and adoption.
  • Capture qualify and document any feature requests communicated by Customers
  • Discover use cases uncover business need and qualify potential upsell opportunities with sales teams

Make a Difference

  • Develop and lead collaborative development of effective TAM Playbooks that support effective consistent measurable customer engagement and outcomes
  • Create proactive technical content for customer accounts
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Extensively collaborate crossfunctionally with Marketing Product and Engineering to share customer insights that inform future product developments

Requirements :

Who You Are:

Experience

  • Knowledge of the Cybersecurity industry technology; Relevant accreditation required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience and a proven track working with Fortune 500 customers
  • Previous experience working in a TAM or technical role ideally within the Cybersecurity domain would be desirable
  • Solid understanding of enterprise IT security strategies products and operations
  • Proven experience working and presenting to technical audiences including senior management
  • Ability to demonstrate account portfolio management ability to prioritize work and strong time management skills are required
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous experience working in a Client or Customer Success role within the Cybersecurity domain

Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of the fundamentals of at least one nonWindows platform (Linux and/or macOS)
  • Ability to functionally troubleshoot MacOS and Linux would be optimal.
  • Experience with endpoint security implementation and augmentation.
  • Experience with Docker and Docker orchestration technologies
  • Working knowledge of the fundamentals of one or more brands of virtualization technology such as VMware Citrix Docker et al.
  • Familiarity with implementing and using Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Must be fluent in written and verbal English; additional language knowledge is not required but it is helpful.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
  • Proven ability to work and solve problems independently while presenting confidence & professionalism.
  • Proven ability to interpret customer requests into technical feature requests.
  • Understanding of business process and workflow.
  • Eagerly proactive acts independently and responsibly and anticipates future events.
  • Service oriented provides courteous and professional service through attentiveness and empathy.
  • Effective and direct written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of malware analysis (not mandatory but would be great to have)
