About the Opportunity:
FedTec is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer to Support the Virginia Housing Department in Richmond VA. Need someone with Microsoft E5 Security Suite Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Purview experience.
Title: Sr. Security Engineer
Location: Richmond VA
Responsibilities
Work on IT Security related projects including:
- PMO Vulnerability Management Project
- PMO DLP project
- Complete the Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) initiative
- DB and storage Encrption
Mentor and Knowledge Transfer to our existing IT Security Team
Skill Requirement
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts
Knowledge of Security infrastructure and tools - Knowledge of running security operations in the Cloud
- Experience with Microsoft E5 Security Suite Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Purview.
Interview: One interview via Webex with the hiring manager and Security Engineer
Work Schedule: The first week the contractor will work onsite. After the first week the contractor will be allowed to work remotely. There will be occasional meetings in person.
