Autoliv a global leader in automotive safety systems is currently seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our automated manufacturing processes. What Youll Do:

• Applicant must have completed the Automated Maintenance Mechanic (AMM) program at the OWATC or Bridgerland.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on automation equipment to prevent downtime and ensure continuous production.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and programming faults in automated systems.
• Update and modify robotic systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) as needed.
• Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to enhance machine efficiency and safety.
• Document maintenance procedures and maintain inventory records for spare parts and supplies.
• Stay uptodate with the latest in automation technology and continuously seek ways to improve processes.

What is Required:

• An HND Foundation degree or degree in Engineering specifically in Mechanical Electrical or Automation fields.
• Proven experience in a similar role with a strong foundation in troubleshooting and repairing automated systems.
• Knowledge of PLC programming robotics and manufacturing information systems.
• Excellent problemsolving skills with a detailoriented approach to tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills capable of working efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends if necessary.
