Job Description
Location: 440 College Park Drive Monroeville PA 15146
Type: 6 months contract on W2
Shift Schedule: 84 or 95
Summary:
Our client is a Fortune 500 leading manufacturer of Paint and Specialty materials. They are looking to add a Development Chemist to their team located in Monroeville PA. Great opportunity for entry level and early career chemists to work for a top class client.
Job Description:
- Level I: 03 years. Knowledgeable of chemistry and scientific test methods.
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to prescribed instructions in clients OLED kilo lab to complete various stages of chemical processing.
- This will include heating and cooling reactors operating pumps and vacuum pumps for chemical transfers distillations filtrations and drying
- Follow batch sheet instructions to produce products
- Document operations and results for kilo lab batches
- Interface with process development chemists and technicians on a regular basis to advance product development
- Associate or bachelors degree in a science (chemistry biology etc) related field required.
- No prior industrial experienced required.
