Akana API Developer
Location: Whippany NJ (3 Day Hybrid Onsite)
Duration: 1 year
Key Responsibilities:
1. API Development:
Design develop and implement highperformance and reliable APIs using Java and the Akana API Management platform.
2. Akana API Management:
Utilize the Akana API Management platform to create deploy and manage APIs effectively.
Configure and customize Akana API Gateway to meet specific project requirements.
6. Security:
Implement and adhere to security best practices in API development and management.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure APIs comply with organizational security policies.
7. Performance Optimization:
Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of APIs to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Java Developer with a focus on Akana API Management.
Handson experience with the Akana API Management platform.
Familiarity with RESTful API design principles.
Experience in troubleshooting and debugging APIrelated issues.
Experience with security best practices in API development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Akana API certification.
Experience with other API management platforms.
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
