Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Sr. SQL Server Database Developer with additional experience as an Application DBA to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing developing and managing SQL databases while also overseeing the integration and functioning of these databases within our application environment. This dual role requires a strong technical foundation in database structure configuration and tuning as well as the ability to manage databases to support our application development.

Qualifications:
- Strong experience in SQL database development using TSQL including writing complex SQL queries stored procedures and optimization techniques.
- Solid experience as an Application DBA with handson experience in database administration performance tuning and troubleshooting in a production environment.
- Familiarity with SQL Server high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as clustering log shipping mirroring or replication.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working in crossfunctional teams.
