Job Description

Position Overview

Our client is actively seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their dynamic team in Laredo TX. This opportunity offers the chance to establish a thriving practice in a community marked by significant growth and a strong economy. The selected candidate will enjoy a competitive compensation package including benefits paid malpractice insurance a signon bonus and a Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance. Compensation will align with the MGMA physician compensation numbers up to the 75th percentile. This position promises a busy practice with a rapidly developing strong referral base and shared call duties with both employed and community physician.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Texas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Spanish to effectively communicate with the local patient population
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on patientcentered care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills crucial for building patient relationships and integrating into the medical community
  • Motivated individual eager to develop a busy practice and contribute to the growth of Laredo Physicians Group

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to a diverse patient population
  • Establish and grow a patient base quickly through excellent care and strong community relationships
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care
  • Participate in shared call rotation enhancing worklife balance
